Board of Directors

The AAF Nashville board strives to be representative of our membership. We’re writers, account executives, media buyers or designers in our individual careers, but we come together to support and grow our advertising community. Each June, directors are elected to oversee the events and activities of AAF Nashville. Board terms last between one and three years depending on level of commitment.

Scott Brooks, GS&F

President

A veteran of Nashville’s advertising industry, Scott Brooks is the PostProduction Supervisor at GS&F where he’s been helping to shape the agency’s creative output for over 25 years. As President of AAF Nashville, Scott is deeply committed to championing the city’s creative community and elevating the visibility of the exceptional work being produced in our region. His goals include chapter growth, increased value of event content, and continuing to foster connection, mentorship, and opportunity for the next generation of creative professionals. When he’s not spreading the word about Nashville’s world-class talent, Scott is likely traveling the world or collaborating on an indie film.

With a successful record of contribution to business growth in a highly competitive client services industry, Patty is involved in all iostudio activities from start to finish, making sure work is produced efficiently, effectively, and profitably. When Patty is away from the office, she’s likely dreaming of her next beach trip, planning parties with her children, or cheering for her grandkids from the sidelines.

Laura Adamson, iostudio

Vice President

Laura Adamson has spent the last 10 years helping organizations build better websites through UX strategy, design, and a healthy dose of creative problem-solving. Her experience at FINN Partners and iostudio has given her the opportunity to lead complex digital projects while collaborating with talented teams across various industries. As Vice President of AAFN, she’s passionate about connecting creatives, sharing ideas, and building a community where people can learn from one another. When she isn’t wireframing a new website or navigating client curveballs, she’s usually experimenting with AI animation, training for another half marathon, or chasing whatever creative idea has her attention that week.

As Sales Director for OUTFRONT Media, he’s helped thousands of brands connect with their audiences on both local and national levels.
