One-on-One Reviews
Get personalized feedback from agency pros during a 15-minute one-on-one resume or portfolio review (or both)! It’s your chance to showcase your work, ask questions, and leave with advice you can actually use.
When you register, let us know which type(s) you’re interested in. Reviews happen during the panel sessions, so you can choose a time slot that works best for you—especially if there’s a panel topic you don’t want to miss.
@Professionals – Want to join the fun?

Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the conference?
The event will be held at Lewis's office in Brentwood. It's on the first floor of the office building and there is free, convenient parking outside. We’ll send out additional details closer to the event.
What should I wear?
There’s no official dress code, but think of this as a professional networking opportunity. Business casual or casual-yet-polished is a safe bet—just wear something that makes you feel confident.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing:
- Notebook – Devices work too but there's just something about paper and pen...
- Resume – Multiple copies, especially if you're doing a one-on-one review. Plus, you never know who you might want to give it to!
- Laptop/Tablet – Be sure to bring if you're showing a website/digital work
- Water bottle – Always a good move
- Business cards – There are great free digital options such as Blinq
What are the review sessions like?
Each review session is a 15-minute one-on-one conversation with a professional from a local agency across a variety of disciplines. You’ll have the chance to walk them through your resume, portfolio, work samples, or website and get personalized feedback. It's a supportive, low-pressure environment designed to help you grow. Ask questions, take notes, and make the most of the time!
How do I sign up for a review session?
You’ll select your time slots and reviewers when you check in the morning of the event. Time slots are first come, first served so arrive early if you have a specific person or agency in mind!
When you buy your ticket online, be sure to indicate which type(s) of review you're interested in so we can plan accordingly.
How many review sessions can I sign up for?
You can sign up for one resume review and/or one portfolio/work sample/website review (2 sessions total). If there are any open spots left once everyone has checked in, we may open them up for additional sign-ups after 9:00 AM.
What if I decide I don't want to do a review session?
No problem! You’re free to come enjoy the panel sessions and networking even if you're not participating in a review session. You’ll still walk away with great insights, inspiration, and new connections.
What if I have a class or work conflict?
We recommend reaching out to your professor or manager to discuss your options. Need a letter for an excused absence or time off? You can download one here.
Will food and drinks be provided?
Yes! Breakfast and light refreshments will be available. We still suggest bringing a water bottle to keep yourself hydrated—or some snacks if that's your jam.
Can you support special accommodations?
Yes! If you have mobility needs, allergies/dietary restrictions, or any other accommodation requests, please contact the organizer ahead of time so we can support you.
What do I do if the event is sold out? Can I still come?
We love the enthusiasm for this event—but that often means it sells out quickly! If tickets are gone, don’t worry—you can still join the waitlist. If a spot opens up, we’ll reach out and give you 24 hours to confirm before offering it to another student.
Still hoping to attend? Reach out to the organizer about volunteer opportunities—we may have a spot available for those able to help out before and after the event!
